Privacy Policy

DRAFTThis page is a working draft, not a final legal document. Don't rely on it for compliance or procurement review.

What this site collects when you read it, what it deliberately doesn't, and who else sees the request.

LAST UPDATED  ·
  1. Scope

This policy covers getquario.com, the marketing site you are reading. It does not describe the quario engine's behavior on your own systems. quario runs on your infrastructure, and it verifies license keys offline — the key is never transmitted.

  2. What this site collects

Nothing you type into it. There is no account, no newsletter, and no contact form anywhere on this site, so there is nothing to submit and nothing submitted to store. Buying a license is the one thing that does create a record, and it happens by email rather than through this site. It has a section of its own below.

The pages are static files. Serving them produces ordinary web-server request logs, recorded by the host rather than by quario: [HOSTING PROVIDER], logging[LOG FIELDS RECORDED].

  3. Cookies and analytics

These pages set no cookies of their own and carry no analytics, tag manager, advertising script, or session recorder. Nothing built into this site follows you between pages or across visits. If that ever changes, this section will name the vendor and what it sees before the change ships.

[DRAFT PLACEHOLDER — whether the host sets cookies of its own (edge caching, bot mitigation), and what consent that requires, to be confirmed with [HOSTING PROVIDER] and counsel.]

  4. Third parties

None for the pages themselves. Web fonts are served from this origin, not from a font vendor. Fetching a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other third-party host for assets.

Links out — to GitHub, for instance — open sites that operate under their own policies, not this one.

  5. How the logs are used

The logs exist to operate and secure the site — to serve pages, diagnose errors, and investigate abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

[DRAFT PLACEHOLDER — lawful basis for processing, to be supplied by counsel.]

  6. Retention

Server logs are kept by the host for [LOG RETENTION PERIOD] and then deleted. No other record of your visit is created or retained.

  7. If you buy a license

Buying is done by email, not through this site, and it creates a record held by the trader named under Contact below. It records the company or personal name, the billing address, the email address, the VAT number where supplied, and the licensee name on the key.

It is held to perform the contract and to meet the statutory invoicing obligations that come with it. The accounting system is Moneybird, which holds the same details to raise the invoice, and its payment provider sees what a payment link needs. The license key itself carries the licensee name.

It is kept as long as the statutory retention period on invoices requires — seven years under Dutch tax law — and then no longer.

None of it is used for marketing. It is not sold, and no advertising profile is built from it.

  8. Your choices

There is little to choose about, which is the point. Reading this site creates no account to close and no profile to delete. There is no tracking to opt out of, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing here to act on. A purchase record is another matter: it exists, and the section above says what it holds and how long it is kept.

  9. Your rights

[DRAFT PLACEHOLDER — data subject rights, how to exercise them, and the relevant supervisory authority, to be supplied by counsel.]
